- Do you react to the market?
- Or do you anticipate it?
- Do you really measure it?
Behind every commercial decision there's a quantitative analysis, not a hunch.
Revenue Science for independent hotels: predictive models validated by international academic research, applied to your hotel's real data — not to generic best practices.
Revenue management isn't the price. It's the decision.
The properties that perform best aren't the ones that react to the market, but the ones that anticipate it. That means moving from operational logic to data-driven decision models, where pricing, distribution and marketing work as an integrated system — not as disconnected tools living in separate silos.
At Hotelnet we call it Revenue Science: a scientific approach, not a marketing one, built on seven years of applied research and an institutional partnership with the EHL Hospitality Business Intelligence Lab in Lausanne. Our revenue management system isn't built on just any algorithm: the method it uses to forecast demand has been validated by the international scientific community and recognized with the EuroCHRIE Best Paper Award 2023.
The difference is called interpretability. Most RMS on the market are black boxes: they produce a number without explaining why. They work as long as demand is stable and degrade silently when patterns change — as happened to the entire industry in 2020. Our model, instead, exposes the reasoning behind every price and quantifies its own uncertainty.
The right price, every day
The engine analyzes demand, booking behavior and competitor signals to propose the optimal rate — room by room, date by date, channel by channel. Every recommendation shows the demand curve and how confident the model is. You always keep control.
- Daily recommendations, intraday on high-demand dates
- One price per channel, weighted on real margin, not gross revenue
- Confidence band and manual override always available
From diagnosis to a measurable decision
Turn the demand you already generate into the revenue it deserves
- KPI dashboard with forecastOccupancy, ADR, RevPAR and pickup, with forecasts and an explicit uncertainty band.
- Competitor rate monitoringConfigurable comp set of up to 5 properties, updated every day.
- Demand calendarLocal events, trade fairs, holidays and historical peaks mapped onto the booking calendar.
- A forecast that learns your seasonalityOccupancy projections from your data, not from industry averages or preset calendars.
- Decision-support or autopilotThe system suggests and you approve, or you delegate by date, channel and segment.
- Performance-based modelYou pay a share of the incremental revenue above a negotiated baseline. Even without a fixed fee.
Decisions you can inspect — and, if you want, delegate.
A black-box RMS gives you a number. A rules-based RMS gives you a configuration. Hotelnet gives you the price, the reasoning behind the price, how confident the system is about that price, and the data it was computed on — for every room type, every date and every channel.
Four things a black box can't do
The engine reconstructs the willingness-to-pay curve from guests' real behavior, including the searches that never turned into a booking — the signal that history-only RMS don't see. It learns seasonality from your data with Bayesian inference, instead of asking you to configure high and low season by hand. It quantifies confidence: not "€245", but "the optimum is around €245, with this degree of certainty". And it optimizes for margin per channel, not revenue per room — because a direct booking at €230 isn't worth as much as one at €230 on an OTA charging 15–25% commission.
You decide how much to delegate
By default the system suggests and you approve: every recommendation comes with the demand curve, the confidence band and the economic rationale. Whenever you want, you switch on autopilot in a granular way — by individual date, channel or segment. And with the performance-based model you pay a share of the incremental revenue we generate: if the system doesn't beat your baseline, neither of us earns anything.
We don't sell an algorithm. We sell a method validated by research — one you can inspect every single day.
Validated by research
It's not just us saying it
"Over the past three years I have collaborated on an applied research project with Hotelnet, and I want to congratulate them on the innovative initiatives and the outstanding results achieved."
"We started using Revenue recently and we're really satisfied. The interface is intuitive and has let us manage rates dynamically — revenue improved right from the start."
"Excellent experience with the GDS and the Booking Engine. Managing bookings became extremely simple, and the integration with the distribution channels increased our visibility."
What hoteliers ask us
Does Hotelnet replace my property management system (PMS)?
No. Hotelnet's revenue management integrates on top of your existing PMS — compatible with the major systems — and adds the decision intelligence layer on pricing, distribution and marketing, sharing a single data core with the booking engine and channel manager.
What makes your pricing different from any other RMS?
Interpretability. It's not a black box: every price comes with its reasoning, a demand curve and a confidence level. The method is validated with the EHL Hospitality Business Intelligence Lab and the EuroCHRIE Best Paper Award 2023.
Can I let the system update prices on its own?
Yes, with autopilot — but in a granular, opt-in way: by individual date, channel or segment. By default you stay in decision-support, where the system suggests and you approve before publishing.
How does the performance-based model work?
You pay a share of the incremental revenue the system generates above a negotiated baseline, with no fixed fee. It coexists with our Fixed and Hybrid models: together we choose the structure best suited to your property.
What happens to my data at the end of the contract?
Your data history is yours. We provide a full export in CSV/JSON and a backup of the configured model. No vendor lock-in.
